There's no place like home!!!

They kept telling me that things would suddenly start to move quickly, and they weren't kidding!

On Friday Audrey's feeding tube was removed - the last barrier to coming home. And she suddenly started eating like a champion and hasn't looked back!

On Saturday we found out that she was going to come home Sunday, and now we're here.

The car ride home went very well. We weren't sure how Audrey would handle it, but she was pretty peaceful the whole way home.

Audrey's first night at home was a little bit less peaceful, but she finally settled down around 3 a.m. Her tummy was a bit upset and she had a hard time sleeping, but she's doing better now.

Our final days in the NICU:

The hearing test (this is routine).

The car seat test- to ensure that she could tolerate sitting up for the ride home.

Getting ready to come home - no more wires :)

One of the lovely monogrammed blankets we received at the baby shower.

A gift from Audrey's Tia Fa.

And we're on our way!
