Audrey is three months old!

It's hard to believe that Audrey is three months old already! I was just saying this week that my time in the hospital seems like a dream, it was such a surreal experience, but already seems like a distant memory. She's getting so much bigger, on the scale at home today she was 8.5 pounds. She really really loves to eat!

Michael is really great with Audrey. He helps with her alot, and she really likes it when he talks with her. He likes to dance with her too - she seems to enjoy it.

We had a nice weekend with Audrey's Baba. My mom is in town for one more week, and we'll be sad to see her go. Yesterday we went down to Tennessee, Michael went for a bike ride and my mom and Audrey and I went for a bit of a walk. Then we went out for Mexican food - and Michael enjoyed a frosty beverage :)








Today we went out for brunch, and thankfully Audrey fell asleep on the way there and slept the whole time! I bought the smart cookie outfit just for Michael :) Oh, and I forgot - Audrey wore her first pair of shoes today! Michael's dad bought them for her when he came down to visit. Thanks Avo!







Michael and Baba spent most of the day outside today working on the yard. It looks great! Michael also got an early father's day gift - an outdoor firepit, something he's been wanting for a long time!!

We have a smile!

Last Saturday Audrey's corrected age was 4 weeks old if she was born on her due date - and we saw her first smile! We don't have a picture yet, and she doesn't smile all the time, but she has definitely started! I was very excited.

We've been going out for lots of walks lately. We like to go to the local farmer's market on Saturday. On the first day of the new farmer's market we saw our good friend Louise - Audrey was happy to meet her.


I haven't been taking quite as many pictures as I did at first, but I still try to keep the camera handy for whenever I see Audrey doing something cute, which is pretty often :) As you can see, Audrey is getting more alert and focused all the time. My best guess at Audrey's weight is 8.5 pounds. She has moved up a size in clothes, it seemed to happen very suddenly! She was wearing Newborn and now she is in 0-3 months.
